The Image Analysis technique performs Dynamic Size and Shape measurements of the particles in a wide and dynamic range (1 ~ 5,000 microns).
The system is equipped with a CCD digital camera and a synchronized illumination; the acquired images are displayed and analyzed by advanced Image Analysis Software.
The acquired images are automatically processed, and dozens of useful analytical parameters are then being determined for each analyzed particle.
Typically, within seconds thousands of imaged particles can be analyzed during measurement, providing useful and advanced analytical features.
Advanced software algorithms enable automatic pre-programmed calculation for all of the available parameters including Ferret Diameter, Surface Area, Perimeter, Circularity, Aspect Ratio, and many other useful size and shape analytical parameters.
All measurement results can be represented in multiple types of graphs and tables, and sample images can be stored for analysis at a later time.
